Scratch Cooking
By cooking with fresh, whole ingredients, ºÚÁÏÍøcan provide delicious, nutritious meals that directly combat diet-related medical problems.Ìý
Salad Bar Every Day
We know our students eat more fruits and vegetables when they have a variety of choices, such as those provided in a self-serve salad bar. Helping children develop good eating habits early in life helps maximize academic performance and promotes wellness throughout their lives.Ìý
Bulk Milk From Straus Family CreameryÌý
Milk cartons make up a large portion of a school’s lunch trash volume. Cartons, along with milk waste, have long been an area of concern. That’s why our program chose to transition to bulk milk dispensers.
These dispensers hold milk at a consistent, chilled temperature that naturally improves its taste and flavor. Studies have shown that bulk milk dispensers increase milk consumption compared to traditional cartons, save costs, and decrease waste.Ìý
