Climate Literacy Resolution
In November of 2021, the ºÚÁÏÍøBoard of Education unanimously passed the Climate Literacy Resolution, becoming the first District in the nation to do so with funding. This comprehensive plan outlines next steps to integrate environmental and climate change topics accross all subject matters.
To advance the goals within this resolution, the ºÚÁÏÍøcommunity convened the Climate Literacy Working Group. This group includes K-12 classroom teachers, garden staff, students, and science educators. Group members will be paid to work in grade-level teams to develop lesson plans and activities that expand access to environmental literacy and healthy learning environments.
If you are a staff member and would like to join this effort please contact the leader of the subgroup you would like to join.
