The Network for a Healthy California, a federal program, funds garden and cooking programs at 6 of our elementary schools, 2 middle schools, as well as the preschools, Berkeley High and B-Tech. At King Middle School, the venerable Edible Schoolyard has been providing garden and kitchen experience for students since 1995.
Theatre thrives at Berkeley middle schools

Longfellow and Willard Middle School Jazz Bands thrilled the audience at Yoshi’s Oakland on May 2nd. The benefit performances raised $1200 for Berkeley Unified Schools’ Middle School Music program.
